This is comedy at its best; Bunk and McNulty are examining a crime scene. Enjoy.
But it gets even better, as there is a great back story to this scene. According to the book The Wire: Truth Be Told, the whole scene is an insider’s homage to veteran Baltimore murder police Terry McLarney, who predicted that police would eventually create their own language constisting entierly of profanity.

This is some classic shit. Just a brilliantly original piece of cinematography. The Wire is definitely the greatest show ever. Can’t wait for season 4 to hit the stores.

That was the first scene I ever saw and thought “Oh my God, what is this show?”
That scene ranks up there with anything Scorsese has ever done.
Cool blog! Check mine out.
